Learn How to Fix Your Credit

First things first you have to CHECK your credit to know what type of problems you actually have. To check your credit I recomend Equifax. Equifax is one of the three credit bureaus and it's the one that is used the most so if something is on your Equifax report it's probably on the Trans Union and Experian.




You can also use ConsumerDirect to check ALL four scores!




After you get your credit report it's time to do something about it. Below are my top sites that offer credit repair.

LifeLock Identity Theft Services - this site is one of the most reputable and safe sites to use. They offer services to repair credit if it is your mistake or even if someone steel your ID. Get 10% off if you sign up now.




ConsumerDirect - They offer Free Credit Scores, Credit Fix & other services. The price with consumer direct is very cheap too. So if you need some help this site would work really well for you.




If you're wanting legal assistance then Ovation Law might be better for you then the others.

Denied For A Bank Account?

Have you recently been declined for a bank account? Are you tired of overdraft fee after overdraft fee? If you answered yes to either of these then it's time to think about another option. There are several different companies out there that offer pre-paid visa/master cards. For anyone that does not want to worry about overdraft fees or has been declined to open an account this is a great alternative for you. Below are the two best sites to do just that.

Vision Premier Prepaid Visa is the first of the two. This visa card offers direct deposit so you can stop paying check cashing fees if you don't have an account. Also if you don't have enough money, the card stops! This is huge if any of you have ever had and overdraft fee before, bank debit cards don't always stop.




The next one is AccountNow Vantage Debit MasterCard. This card is cool if you like doing banking online. With this card you are able to do online banking and even do online check writing. It also helps you build your credit up so if you have bad credit this is a great place to start to fix it.

Credit Cards

Now as you read above one of the easy ways to free up some money is by consolidating credit cards onto one low interest rate card by doing balance transfers. This is a wonderful thing to do! BUT, you need to find the right credit card with the right offer. Below are a few links to different credit card companies. Look at all of them to decide what is going to be best for your situation. I recomend doing a balance transfer about once every two years, unless there is a big emergency and you need to free money up right away, or if a GREAT offer is presented to you.

CreditAxis.com is a credit & loan site that finds financing for any credit profile. This is a HUGE thing because it is very hard for people with bad credit to get credit cards.

Loans

If you have decided that you need a loan, maybe for re-financing, consolidation, or even just for extra cash flow then the following few links are going to help you out. I'm only going to explain the top sites and then I'll have some extra ones that I'm still researching. One of my favorite things is to find sites that offer approvals to all credit types. It's very hard for people to re-establish themselves and I really like when I come accross a site that helps with just that. Abacus Credit is a great site to get financing if you have bad credit, they take all credit types.




MyAutoLoan.com is another site that I like. I recently purchased my first home and I used this web site to find the loan that I needed. You do one application and get up to four different loan offers. One thing to know about purchasing or refinancing your home is that if you apply with multiple companies within a 2 week period the credit bureu won't ding you on your credit report because they know you are rate shopping. This web site makes doing rate shopping really easy.




Cash Central is a great place to go if you need money right away. Now, as a personal banker, I will worn you that pay day loans can be scary. I recomend to only use a pay day loan if you have 100% no other option. If that is the case then out of all the pay day loan sites I recomend Cash Central.




My second favorite site for pay day loans is Team Quick Cash.
